Care & Use

Before first use of your Thermos product, ensure that the base is securely tightened
In the interests of safety and hygiene please ensure that your Thermos product is cleaned with warm water and washing-up liquid prior to initial use
Do not look directly into flask when filling, keep at arm's length
To achieve the best results from your Thermos flask, pre-fill before use with hot water for hot drinks and cold water for chilled drinks. Never use a microwave or conventional oven for this purpose
If your Thermos product has not been used for some time, rinse with warm water to remove any residual odours
Your flask should not be overfilled. Remember to leave sufficient space in the neck to fit the stopper
DO NOT STIR THE CONTENTS, OR INSERT ANY SOLID OR FROZEN OBJECTS INTO THE FLASK.
Personal injury is likely to occur from the contents being forcefully ejected if the glass filler is damaged
After filling, ensure both the outside cup and stopper are always tightly closed.

Using warm water and washing-up liquid clean your Thermos product after use, removing any traces of food. Rinse thoroughly with hot water. Do not immerse in water. Dry thoroughly after leaving it to drain. Store with the stopper off
Do not put your Thermos product in a dishwasher
For excessive staining use of household stain or scale remover is recommended. To remove difficult stains fill your flask with hot water, add one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and secure cap. Soaking overnight produces excellent results. Always rinse before re-use.

Avoid abrasives, solvents and bleach products
Keep your Thermos product away from direct heat to protect any plastic material from damage
Do not store dry ice or any carbonated drink as they may cause the stopper to eject forcefully, or cause breakage to the glass liner
If your product is labelled FOR TABLE TOP USE ONLY, it should not be transported, and may leak if placed on its side
This product must NOT be used for keeping milk products or baby food warm or cool ( possibility of bacterial growth )
To prevent scalding always pour contents into a cup and do not drink directly from the Thermos product
If this Thermos product is dropped, the glass inner may break. Before using again, the product should be checked thoroughly for damage. If the liner is damaged, under no circumstances should the contents be consumed as they may contain glass fragments
This product contains glass components and may not be suitable for use by children.
